Healthy Asparagus Recipe

3 tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons water

1 tablespoon coarse salt or to taste

1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 tablespoon minced garlic

2 tablespoons water

½ teaspoon parsley


Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Stir in the garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper. Cook garlic in butter for a minute, but do not brown. Add asparagus, and cook for 10 minutes, add water and turn asparagus to ensure even cooking. Serve hot with slice of lime/lemon.
