Spicy Potato Patti/ Aloo Tikki Recipe
4-6 boiled potatoes
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon crush red peppers
2 medium green chilies finely chopped
1 teaspoon pomegranate seeds
1 teaspoon mango powder
5 tablespoon fresh cilantro finely chopped
Salt to taste
Oil for frying
Put the boiled potatoes in a glass bowl and mash them. Once mashed evenly then add cumin seeds, pomegranate seeds, crush peppers, salt, mango powder, chopped green chilies, and cilantro.
Roll the mixture into golf ball sized portions, then flatten into cakes. Coat both sides in whisked eggs.
Coat the bottom of a frying pan with oil, Heat over a medium flame, and then add the potato patti (they should sizzle). Cook until golden brown, then carefully flip over and repeat.
Serve warm with chutney.
