Best Green Tea with Milk & Almonds

Serve 2


  • 3 tablespoons loose leaf green tea  
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup milk
  • Sliced almonds
  • 1 teaspoon cardamon powder
  • Pinch of baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons sugar or as desired


Add water to pot and boil, add green tea and start mixing. Mix constantly for 3 minutes and then add baking soda, cardamom powder and sugar. Do not add almonds as we have to strain the tea before adding almonds.  Let tea boil and add milk and let it boil one last time and serve with sliced almonds.
