Middle Eastern Sahlab (salep) Drink Pudding Dessert

INGREDIENTS:

2 cups milk
2 tablespoons cornstarch
3 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon rose water
Cinnamon powder for garnish on top
Pistachios chopped for garnish

DIRECTIONS:

Place the milk in a saucepan and boil. Take half cup of cold milk out and mix cornstarch. Once milk boil add sugar, milk mixture, and rose water. Stir and bring to a simmer, and keep stirring until thickened. Transfer to cups and sprinkle with cinnamon and pistachios. Serve with crackers or cookies.
