Minced Meat with Bell Pepper Murtabak (Mutabkh) Recipe

Ingredients

Oil to fry

1/2 cup minced meat

1 onion chopped

1/2 cup chopped bell pepper

1/2 cup tomatoes chopped

1 green chili chopped

1 cup cilantro chopped

Dough

Salt & Pepper to taste

2 eggs

1/4 teaspoon cumin

Directions:

In a glass bowl add minced meat, peppers, tomatoes, onions, cilantro, green chili, cumin, salt, pepper and eggs. Blend everything well and set aside. Place 2 tablespoons of mixture into the center of a stretched dough, then fold edges of dough into center to an envelope. Carefully lift murtabak and transfer to pan with all the edges overlapping underneath. Cook, gently pressing murtabak, over low heat for 5 minutes each side or until browned and cooked through. Repeat with remaining eggs mixture and dough.
