Turkish Rice with Ground Meat Recipe
Ground Meat Prep:
2 tablespoon tomato paste
1/4 cup minced parsley
1 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Salt to taste
1 cup ground meat
2 cloves garlic minced
1/4 cup onion minced
1/2 cup yellow bell pepper chopped
1 green chili chopped
2 tablespoon oil
Combine all the ingredients in the bowl with ground meat and mix well.
Rice Prep:
2 cups ground meat mix
3 cups rice
1 cup chopped tomatoes & onions mix
4 cups beef stock
1 tablespoon salt or to taste
1 tablespoon black pepper
1 teaspoon paprika powder
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
Oil
Directions:
In a pan add oil, brown ground meat mixture, onions, tomatoes, and cook for 5 minutes. Add all dry spices, beef stock, and rice. Cook stirring for 2 minutes and then bring it to boil. Cover and simmer for 25 to 30 minutes or until rice is tender. Serve hot with yogurt salad.
