Pan Seared Strip Steak With Tomato Garlic Sauce Recipe
Ingredients:
1 Large strip steaks
1 onion chopped2 tablespoons flour 2 tablespoons tomato paste1/2 lemon juice1/4 cup veggie stock or beef/chicken stock
1 teaspoon salt or to taste
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons butter
2 garlic cloves sliced
Directions:
Let steaks stand 30 minutes at room temperature and dry it will paper towel. Sprinkle salt and pepper evenly over steaks on both sides.
Heat a pan over high heat and add oil to pan. Add steaks to pan and cook 3 minutes on each side or until browned. Reduce heat to medium and add butter, garlic, and onions to pan. Cook Steak for another 2 minutes and then remove from pan leaving the onions and garlic in the pan.
In the onion mixture add lemon juice, flour, black pepper, salt, tomato paste, veggie stock and cook for 5 minutes or until sauce is desired thick constancy. Add sauce on top of the steak and served with some grilled veggies.
