Lebanese Kafta Kebabs Recipe


2 1/2 cups ground meat (of your choice)

1 cup chopped parsley

1 cup chopped mint

1 teaspoon ground cumin

1 teaspoon sumak

1 cup chopped onion or grated

1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Salt to taste



In a large bowl, stir together ground meat, parsley, mint, cumin, onions, salt, sumak and black pepper. Take about 3 tablespoon of meat in your palm and make them into an oval shape or shape of your choice. Once you have form all the kebabs freeze them for 2 hours or overnight. Next day preheat your oven to 375F. Once the oven is preheated in a baking tray add some olive oil and lay down the kebabs. Cook kebabs in the oven for 20-30 minutes or until meat is well cooked. Served right away with some rice or bread.
