Easy Homemade Guacamole With Tomatoes and Onions Recipe
Ingredients:
2 ripe avocados
1/4 cup finely minced onion
1 fresh lime juice (or lemon juice)
1 large tomato or 2 small tomatoes diced
1/4 cup cilantro leaves chopped
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder
Salt to taste
Directions:
First take the diced onions and add to a bowl with ice cubes. This will make the onions less intense and taste will not be bitter.
Cut avocados in half, lengthwise and use a spoon to scoop out the seed. Scoop out the flesh and add to a bowl. Add lime juice then use a fork and gently mash into very small chunks. Add in the tomato, onions, cilantro, cumin, salt and black pepper. Taste the guacamole and adjust with additional salt, peppers, or lime juice.
Serve immediately or cover with plastic wrap by pushing the plastic wrap touching the guacamole for 24 hours.
