Spicy Chicken Pokara Chicken Fritters Recipe
Ingredients:
2 cups chicken cut into thin strips
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1 1/2 cups chickpeas flour
1 tablespoon ginger paste
1 tablespoon garlic paste
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon mango powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon red pepper powder
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 onion sliced
1/2 cup cilantro chopped
3-4 chopped green chilies
Salt to taste
Oil
Directions:
First take a bowl and into it add boneless chicken pieces cut into 2 inches long thin strips. Add salt per taste, black pepper, red chili powder, turmeric powder, mango powder, coriander powder, ginger paste and garlic paste. Mix all the ingredients well. Add chickpea flour into it, add cornstarch and mix it well. Add egg into it. Mix the whole mixture well, rest aside and marinate it for 2 hours.
After 2 hours mark add cilantro, green chiles, onions and more chickpeas flour and mix well. Add oil in a wok and heat it. Add the chicken pieces into small ball to the oil and deep fry them until they turn golden brown. Remove the fried chicken pieces from oil. Place them on paper towel on a plate. Serve them hot with ketchup or mint chutney.
