Breaded Pan Fried Tilapia Recipe
- 3 tablespoons oil
- 1/2 cup hot ‘n spicy bread crumbs or panko crumbs
- salt to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon ground paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon fish spicy
- 1/4 teaspoon sage powder
- 1/2 lime juice
- 1 teaspoon black pepper or to taste
- 3-4 tilapia fillets
Wash and dry the tilapia. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Coat tilapia fillets with the salt and rest of the spices then coat with bread crumbs. Rub the spices into the fish before coating it with bread crumbs.
Fry the coated tilapia fillets in the hot oil one at a time. Turn carefully after 4 minutes and cook for another 4 minutes or until cooked through and lightly browned. Serve with some ketchup and side of roasted veggies.
