Homemade Ginger Paste
5-6 large pieces ginger
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup olive oil
Wash the ginger very well. Pat it dry completely using kitchen towel or paper towel. It is important that there should be no moisture. You can leave skin on or remove skin using a spoon. Chop into small pieces and add it to a chopper this will make the grinding process easy.
Start the chopper and start chopping into a paste. Do not add any water to the mix. you a spoon or spatula to push down the ginger back in between to make the process easy. Add the one teaspoon of salt and half of cup olive and chop again to mix everything evenly.
Remove the paste into a glass jar or air tight container and store in the fridge.
