Missi Roti Recipe Vegan

2 cups whole wheat flour

11/2 cup gram flour

1 cup finely chopped onions

1 cup chopped cilantro

2 green chilies finely chopped

2 tablespoon roasted cumin and coriander seeds roughly chopped

1 teaspoon red chili powder

1 teaspoon turmeric powder

Salt to taste

2 tablespoon oil

Butter for frying

In a bowl add gram flour and whole wheat flour roasted cumin seeds, coriander seeds, red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt and mix everything well.

Now add green chillies, onions, cilantro leaves and mix well. Add sufficient water slowly at a time to knead dough. Add two tablespoon of oil into the dough and knead well.

Cover and rest the dough for about twenty minutes. Take some dough and roll it into balls. Now take some dry flour and spread it out on a counter and roll each ball into a round shape roti. (you can do whatever shape is easy for you)

Heat a pan and add some butter to it, now add roti and turn both sides and keep adding butter as desire until roti is well done. Serve hot with chutney.
