Turkey & Veggie Pasta Recipe
Ingredients:
1 cup chopped onions
1 cup chopped carrots
1 cup chopped celery
2 cups of chopped leftover turkey
1/2 teaspoon basil
1/2 teaspoon rosemary
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon sage powder
1/4 teaspoon cayenne powder
1 tablespoon Montreal chicken seasoning
4 cups stock (chicken or vegetable)
4-5 cloves garlic chopped
2 tablespoon soy sauce
2 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoon oil
Hot sauce to taste
Salt to taste
3 cups pasta
Directions:
First we need to wash all vegetables and cut them in small pieces. In a pot add butter, oil and add chopped garlic. Fry it for 2 minutes and then add carrots, celery, onions and cook for 3 minutes and then add chopped turkey.
In a separate pot add water and boil pasta. once pasta is al dente then drain and set a side. Once the turkey is added, then add all the spices, salt, soy sauce, Montreal chicken seasoning and stock. Cover the pot and cook for 15 minutes.
After 15 minutes add your cooked pasta and mix everything well. Cook the pasta with turkey for 5 minutes and then serve hot in a bowl. Add hot sauce to taste and serve hot.
