Turkey Neck Gravy recipe
Ingredients:
1 turkey neck
1 cup turkey drippings (fat and juices from roasted turkey)
4 tablespoon all-purpose flour
2 cups liquid broth or water
Salt to taste
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon steak spices
1 teaspoon oil
2 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon water
Directions:
In a oven safe bowl add your turkey neck and sprinkle salt, steak spices, oil and black pepper. Rub the neck with spices and preheat the oven to 350 degree. Bake turkey neck for 30 minutes or until is well cooked. Add a little water to the dish and scrape the spices off from the pan.
Now take a pan and add butter to it, add flour and cook flour well for 5 – 10 minutes. Then add turkey neck, turkey drippings, turkey stock and sauce from the pan. cook for 10 minutes. Cook until desire thickness and server hot with turkey and salad.
